Product Description

A 10 voices (2 5-voices choirs) madrigal by Orazio Faa, who was appreciated at Gonzaga's court in the 16th century.
The dialogue between the 2 choirs runs about love and the pains it gives and ends up suggesting all "stupid lovers" to leave it and turn their look and steps towards the sky...

(Transcribed and converted to modern clefs; some corrections in text and notes, order of the parts rearranged to keep the juxtapposition between the 2 choirs.)
