Product Description

Written by Beethoven, Für Elise is one of the most famous classical pieces of all time. Christy-Lyns harp arrangement keeps the familiar tune and feel of the piano piece, but it is adapted to fit really well on the harp, with harp-friendly left hand patterns, and only the most necessary lever changes. If youve been looking for an elegant classical piece to play, this is the one!

Difficulty Level and Skills Required: Early-intermediate: The main challenge is the quick lever changes but they have been well planned out and clearly marked. The right hand melody is fairly straight forward with some new 4-finger placement shapes. The left hand accompaniment includes 4-2-1 shapes, and both hands play repeated broken octaves on the second page.

Type of Harp: Lever harps or pedal harp. The small harp version works for 26 string harps or larger, and the big harp version works for 33 string harps or larger.

Range: Small harp version Lowest note is E below middle C. Highest note is F two and a half octaves above middle C. Big harp version Lowest note is E, almost 2 octaves below middle C. Highest note is E, 2 and a half octaves above middle C.

Levers/Pedals: It is in the key of A minor (same as C major). There are multiple G and D sharp lever (or pedal) changes in this piece.
