Well made arrangements for solo guitar
Review by Ben R. on 23 Oct 2024 review stating Die With A Smile - Piano/Vocal/Guitar
I recently bought two arrangements from Sheet Music Direct. Sukiyaki as a solo guitar fingerstyle arrangement, and Roundabout by Yes, as a solo piano piece. Both were appropriate for the material covered, Sukiyaki being easy enough for a good player to get under fingers in a couple of days, Roundabout much more challenging but intelligently distilled from a group piece to solo piano, from which I extracted and arranged for solo guitar.
Overall, I was very pleased with both arrangements. I play solo guitar exclusively and I'm always on the lookout for both popular tunes that don't require three months of work to master but sound appealing, as well as difficult show pieces that do require much greater commitment to play live but are memorable in their more virtuosic form. Both these Sheet Music Direct arrangements fit my requirements very handsomely.
