Jaco Pastorius made this tune famous before sadly passing away. The Chicken is a tune written by Alfred 'Pee Wee' Ellis and has been arranged for Big Band / Jazz Ensemble by British Composer, Marcus Day. This is one of a collection of arrangements for Jazz Ensemble he arranged. The arrangement is written for Alto, Tenor and Baritone Saxophones, Trombone, Piano, Bass Guitar and Drums. The Soul intro is included which is very good fun and, being a Jaco Pastorius number, heavily includes the bass guitar.

This piece includes a full score as well as individual parts for each instrument.
