Product Description

This is an arrangement for Jazz Ensemble of the Gospel March theme featured in the Disney Pixar film, 'Monsters University' arranged by British Composer, Marcus Day. It is arranged for Clarinet, Alto, Tenor, Soprano and Baritone Saxophones, Trumpet, Trombone and Bass Guitar. There is percussion, but is isn't included as it depends on the feel you are going for. Traditionally it is performed in a bossa nova style, but there are options. Feel free to check online for the original version and have a play.

The piece is around five minutes in length including solo section and is really good fun to play, especially with the instruments included. The chords are provided on top of the bass line and are very simple and good fun to solo over. The piece was written for Bass Guitar jazz recital in 2016 and was performed using live band of university graduates but can be performed by High School level musicians of a amateur quality.
