Product Description

This iconic piece, "Baba Yetu", by Christopher Tin from the video game Civilization IV, is ideal for pops concerts, background dinner music gigs, or children's concerts. For educational outreach programs, if you do not have a percussionist available, ask a volunteer percussion student from the audience to play the egg shaker part. It's easy enough to sightread and fun for the student and the ensemble. The piece can be performed by most ensembles, from advanced high school groups to professional quintets. I have included an alternate bass clarinet part in lieu of a missing bassoon. Originally scored for a studio orchestra, I hope you enjoy this interpretation for winds.
