Product Description
Danse Macabre is a famous and dramatic piece of music by Camille Saint-Saëns. It is a tone poem set on Halloween Night that represents Death summoning skeletons to dance for him by playing his violin - in this arrangement represented mainly by the first cello part. When the rooster crows, the skeletons must return to their graves, waiting until next Halloween when they can once more perform the dance of Death.
This upbeat arrangement is
perfect for weddings, schools, churches and any other performance opportunities
that arise for the professional or amateur musician.
This arrangement goes for approx. 2 min. This
purchase includes a score and parts for all performers. It would work best for players of an intermediate level. It is set in the key of A minor, which while not the original key is
perfect for stringed instruments.
