Product Description

Amazing Grace is a classic hymn from the 1770s with words written by John Newton. The original version has six verses, and this arrangement has allowed for the three most commonly sung, however it is easily convertible into either a longer or shorter piece by changing the number of repeats. This simple arrangement is perfect for weddings, schools, churches and any other performance opportunities that arise for the professional or amateur musician.

The arrangement goes for approx. 2 min. This purchase includes a score and parts for all performers; violin 1, violin 2, viola and cello. It would work best for players of an beginning to intermediate level. It is set in the key of G Major, which works well for string instruments.

Laura Chegwidden is a pianist, cellist, double bassist and singer from Newcastle Australia. She recently graduated with distinction from the University of Newcastle with a B.MUS majoring in Cello and Composition.
