Product Description

The Trio Sonata was written for three equal players and has five movements, Preludio, Aria, Rigadon, Minuetto and Capricio. The clarinet part is in A. Players of intermediate standard and above should enjoy playing this sonata which Quantz wrote for his pupil King Frederic (the Great) of Prussia.

All editings are shown using dashed lines or parentheses ( ). No dynamic markings are given in the first edition published in Paris 'Pour les flutes Traversieres, violons, ou hautbois' by Boivin in 1728. Dynanics have been left for performers to decide.
