This is the fourth of a set of six sonatas for 2 transverse flutes published in Paris in 1728. The playing score has been edited and arranged for 2 bassoons or cellos. The musical notation has been modernised. All edits are shown in parentheses ( ) or dashed lines. The trill ( +) has been replaced by tr and the mordants signs have not altered. The five movements, Andante, Allegro, Aria - Affetuoso, Minuet & Giga are for equal players of intermediate ability or above. Players of intermediate standard and above will enjoy the interplay between the independent parts.
