Product Description

The eighth of twelve trio sonatas first published in London by John Walsh in 1747 for 2 violins and cello or harpsichord by William Boyce 'composer to his Majesty' George the second. Boyce had been granted the Royal Privilege and Licence in 1745 to have his music printed and sold for a period of fourteen years. The list of subscribers to the publication includes everyone who was anyone and included one 'George Frederick Handel, Esq;'.
