Manuel de Falla was a Spanish composer and one of Spain's most prominent musicians in the first half of the twentieth century. He was so revered that his portrait image was printed on Spain's one hundred pesetas banknote. "Serenata Andaluza" is one of Falla's most popular solo piano pieces and frequently played as an encore in concerts worldwide.This transcription of the "Serenata Andaluza" arranged for flute and piano would also make an exciting encore piece or repertoire piece for a chamber concert or recital.
The performance time is five and a half minutes and is suitable for all schools and colleges.
