Product Description

Congregationalist minister, Joshua Leavitt wrote Pleading Savior in 1831 to include in his book, The Christian Lyre. Since then the melody has been set to other words for many Christian religions. In 1938 Fr. Roland Ford Palmer, set the poem, Sing of Mary, Meek and Lowly, to this melody.
