Product Description
DANCE OF THE EVERGREENS for Elementary STRING ORCHESTRA with optional Piano & Percussion
This delightful piece for Elementary String Orchestra suggests dancing Evergreen trees on a cold winter day. The optional percussion enhances the mood. The triangle represents the icicles hanging from the branches. The bass drum depicts the stoutness of the trees as they sway in the breezes. The piano part is not required to present the piece but can add to the festive atmosphere. All string parts are in first position with no accidentals (2 sharps in the key signature). There are no slurs and only minimal bow markings. Only quarter and dotted half notes are used. A Violin 3 (viola) part is included.
There are 2 separate Sound Files available:
1) TRAX (contains the Piano part and the Piano+Percussion parts) for Rehearsal or Performance
2) REHEARSAL Sound Files contain individual parts + the Piano - Violin 1, Violin 2, Viola/Violin 3, Cello & String Bass.
