Concert Ready is designed to feature your latest batch of new wind
players (flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, french horn, bassoon, trombone, etc) with piano accompaniment. Youth bands,
schools, music teachers and music centers will recognize the scenario where your last
cohort of new starters has been playing a little while are keen and
enthusiastic to take part in their first concert. This work gives them
the opportunity to play a fun piece with any number of
their peers (strength in numbers!) or even just on their own.
The piano accompaniment
is about grade 5 standard (advanced intermediate) and can also be used in rehearsal for the wind/brass band versions of this piece. Non pianists can look out for the piano accompaniment mp3 backing track for this piece also on sheet music plus.
The difficultly level
for the soloists is Easy/Beginner and targeted for players that have learnt their first five or six notes.
The
PDF is in A4 portrait (13 pages) and contains a score, piano accompaniment and solo parts in concert pitch (8va), Bb, Eb, F and bass clef. The duration of the piece is just over 2
minutes 30 seconds.
