This setting of the poem attempts to do the same. The setting acknowledges the gravity of death and yet lifts toward the end to provide comfort and hope to the grieving. The vocal line is somewhat diatonic and should be fairly easy for a proficient vocalist, and the harmony should be accessible for most audiences.
