William Bradbury wrote the music for this William Walfords poem in 1861, publishing it in his book, Golden Chains. The three verses in this arrangement tone paint the words of the poem. It moves from quiet private prayer in which you hear your heart beat to the happiness that comes from trusting in Gods grace.

Arranged for either Lever or Pedal harps, the Piano part can also be played on a Pedal Harp or an Organ.
