Product Description

The Sicilian Mariners Hymn was often sung in the evening by Sicilian seamen asking the Blessed Virgin Mary for protection. Their travels helped to spread the melody to many countries. O Sanctissima, in Latin, was first published in London in 1792. This joyful arrangement has the sound of bells ringing throughout the piece.

It is in the key of D. The melody is divided evenly between parts. Dynamics and pedal/lever changes are clearly marked.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
