Product Description
Need a short, uplifting piece to shower hope on your hearers?
This lilting, simple melody in 6/8 time will encourage you to relax and smile for a few minutes. Even the piano part is fairly easy to play, with the feeling of a two-part invention. The verse groupings are separated by a legato refrain, and both flute and cello take their turn playing the melody as well as a countermelody. All instruments are invited to add in their own turns, grace notes, and trills when playing the melody. The song ends as simply as it begins.
The lyrics to this piece (not included) acknowledge the presence of evil, but rejoice in the setting-things-right that will happen in the future. It can all be summed up by the lyric, "a home with my God will make up for it all."
