Fun beginning rock piece for grades 1-1.5
Instrumentation included:
Flute, Bb Clarinet, Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, Bassoon, Bb Trumpets 1 & 2, F Horn, Trombone/Euphonium, Tuba, Cymbals, Snare, Bass Drum, Drum Kit
Not all parts are necessary to play the piece (i.e. bassoon is basically covered by tenor sax or low brass etc.)
This arrangement features a mix of unisons and simple harmonies, focusing on a few notes of the F natural minor scale. The percussion is written out both in drum kit format and separately with cymbals, snare, and bass. The 1st endings can be skipped at the director's discretion if the piece feels too long. Additionally if the students are not fans of pizza, feel free to rename the piece "Taco Day" or whatever feels best.
