The Man with the Horn by Jack Jenney, Eddie DeLange & Bonnie Lake is one of the most beautiful melodies from the big band era. It was written just months before Jenney's untimely death. Later it became Ray Anthony's theme song. This big band arrangement features a trumpet solo in Eb concert and a vocal chorus in C (female). The lyric by Jack's wife, Bonnie Lake, is a heartfelt tribute to the man she loved.
