Derek Hasted writes "Ideal for those with limited experience of guitar or those with limited time to rehearse, this little suite of 4 well-known UK Christmas carols runs for 6 minutes. It suits a mixed ability ensemble from early intermediate to intermediate.

Contains "In Dulci Jubilo", "Masters In This Hall", "Gabriels Message" and "The Sussex Carol".

All the pieces are in compound time and the carols have a real sense of energy. Each carol has multiple verses which gradually build the sound.

They can be played separately, or as a medley where the next carol starts immediately after the previous, and the carols are presented so that the key changes in the medley are unobtrusive.

Guitar 3 is presented in treble and bass clefs to suit a conventional guitar and also a bass guitar or string bass. Both versions can be played at the same time for a bigger sound.
