Product Description

Six traditional American melodies arranged for harp solo by Louise Trotter. They were originally improvisations Louise recorded on an album for Sampler Records in 1990, called Shenandoah. Beautiful renditions, in free-form style, notated after the recording was completed. Old Joe Clark is arranged as a hoe-down. Wayfaring Stranger is a lush rendition using extended harmonies. Of intermediate difficulty, these American tunes should be satisfying elements of your repertoire.
Table of Contents: Old Joe Clark, Shenandoah, Black is the Color, Deep River, Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen and Wayfaring Stranger
