Product Description
From Don Giovanni, K527, Act 2 by W.A. Mozart
Brass Quintet
Trumpet 1, Trumpet 2, Horn in F, Trombone, Tuba Advanced
Perhaps one of the most frighteningly supernatural
compositions in Classical Music. The climax of the opera is the confrontation between
Don Giovanni (baritone) and the ghost of the Commendatore (bass). Earlier in
the opera, Don Giovanni kills the Commedatore in a duel, and now the duel
continues, this time in a vocal battle. Originally a duet between Don Giovanni and
the Commedatore, this Brass Quintet has been reimagined with the duelists portrayed
by the French Horn and Trombone. An exciting and challenging arrangement.
Arranged for Brass Quintet by David Kolinski-Schultz. Approx.
playing time: 7:00 minutes. Score, Set of Parts. 41 pages. Published by PDQ
Music.
