statement of the theme in 2/4 time done in tutti
fashion. This is followed by two variations of the theme, the first in a chorale
style, also in 2/4 time. The second variation is styled as a gigue in 6/8 time.
Suitable for Christmas Church services, the exultant nature
of the song being appropriate for use as a processional.
