Product Description
This traditional Irish ballad tells the story of a young maiden who is kidnapped by pirates but cleverly extricates herself.
This arrangement is my own soundscape for the story, drawing on the traditional melody, but treating it very freely. I've included a shorter lower-intermediate version here for those who wish to learn just the "bones" of the melody, and the longer version upper-intermediate version for those who want all the dramatic parts as well.
For lever harp or pedal harp
Some fingerings included.
Short version: Lower-Intermediate
Long version: Upper-Intermediate
The lowest note is the D two octaves below middle C. The highest note is the C two octaves above middle C.
