"Precious Lord, Take My Hand" after the death of his wife and newborn
son, adapting a melody attributed to George Nelson Allen.
Appropriate for funerals, church preludes, background gigs, or as a solo, this
arrangement of "Precious Lord" aims for a bluesy, understated feel.
Perform it with a gentle swing that blurs the lines between sixteenth
notes and triplets.
