The 'Bach Double' is the popular name for Concerto for Two Violins, Strings and Continuo in D minor BWV 1043.
In my version, the two violins play the original lines with the viola and cello substituting for the rest of the orchestra.
Why hire an orchestra when you can get together with a couple of friends and pretend you are at the Carnegie Hall!
I have found that it is great for more advanced students.
