Set of 5 pieces, written for the Chapman family. The composer was a lodger at their home and enjoyed their not infrequent family music-making, and decided to write this set of pieces for all of them to play (and as a token of her appreciation of their amazing hospitality), with each piece highlighting a different family member on the instrument that they played: dad Ernest on the soprano recorder, mom Mary on the violin or fiddle (and accompanying Ernest on her guitar as well), children Ruth and Tim on the piano or percussion and Rachel on her cello. 

As a family music-making activity, this set of provides tuneful and easy pieces that allow every member of the family to be involved. The pieces are also available individually, and those individual piece pages also include audio samples of each, if the interested listener would like to hear the music before purchasing a copy.
