Product Description

Tchaikovsky's Festival Coronation March was commissioned by the City of Moscow in 1883 for the coronation of Tsar Alexander III and first performed on June 4 of that year.

The work contains two quotes of "God Save the Tsar", which were edited out during performances throughout the Communist Soviet era, but are now back in place in order for the low brass section to shine :)

Steven Gamble's excellent arrangement of this 5 1/2 minute work is appropriate for advanced players. Instrumentation is for standard brass quintet with trumpet parts in B-flat.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
