Product Description

Concert Etude op. 49 for Solo Trumpet and Brass Quintet was written by Alexander Goedicke (1877 - 1957). Goedicke was a Russian Composer and Pianist who taught at the Moscow Conservatory. He had studied Piano at the Moscow Conservatory, and although quite prolific as a composer, had no formal training in composition. But despite his lack of traditional guidance, his compositional efforts were rewarded when he won the Rubinstein Prize for Composition at the young age of 23.
