Product Description

Die Bankelsangerlieder is a 17th century Baroque Sonata that has recently been attributed to Daniel Speer. Translated from German, "the song of the bench singers" refers to performers who often played in taverns while standing on benches.

While the original work for 5 parts is most often played by a Brass Quintet, this version of 2 1/2 minutes in length is for 9-part Brass Ensemble arranged by Jim Tempest. It is full sounding and appropriate for moderately advanced performers.
Instrumentation is: 2 Trumpets in B-flat, 2 Horns, 3 Trombones, Euphonium and Tuba.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
