"The Old Gypsy" is an old Hungarian traditional song describing a very sad story like some blues songs would do.
It is a very free and melancholic song followed by a slowish valse. Extremely beautiful.
The guitar imitates the cembalon, a sort of flat lying harp or open harpsichord played with handhold "hammers", drum sticks.
