This folksong from the 19th century is also known as "Acres of Claims", "Lincoln and Liberty" (and several other names) is probably of British or Irish origin was first published in 1838 as a waltz. This arrangement is in 4/4 with independence in all parts, the violins need to know low 2s (1st will play up to high G), cello uses C and C#, the bass plays C# on the G string. Slurs in all parts except the bass and uses 1st/2nd endings. Fun piece to perform. Key of G Grade 2
