This three-part canon in G major was originally attributed to Mozart but is now thought to have been composed by the Czech physician/composer Wenzel Trnka (1739-91). Originally this simple canon was originally composed for three voices and I adapted it for two different instrumentations (vln1,2 and vla or vln, vla and cello) to suit your specific needs. The lyrics are concerned with eating and drinking! Great piece for ensemble performances or private occasions.
