La fille aux cheveux de lin- The girl with the flaxen hair has been arranged here to make it available for pianists who don't feel quite ready for the more challenging version.
This arrangement is in the key of G major instead of G flat which makes it a lot easier to read! Some big stretches have been avoided and some of the chords have a few notes taken away. Additionally, some octave work has been compromised and a section towards the end has been split between the hands making it more playable.
The arrangement is intended to capture the beauty of the original.
It has been put at intermediate level- associated board grade 5-6.and it is around 3 minutes in length- but the youtube link has the full score for you to assess suitability. Would work really well for concerts, recitals, weddings, informal events, background music etc as it is a popular favourite.
