Based on Psalm 42:1. Sicut cervus desiderat ad fontes aquarum, ita desiderat anima mea ad te, Deus. (As a hart longs for the flowing streams, so longs my soul for thee, O God.) Originally for 4 voices (SATB) and in F major - transcribed for String Quartet. In order to fit the instruments ranges the key signature was changed to G major.
