Piano Prelude on KELVINGROVE, a Scottish folk tune, which serves as the melody for the hymn "The Summons", or "Will You Come and Follow Me", found in many contemporary hymnals.
The lilting 6/8 meter is reminiscent of a Celtic folk dance, beginning simply as a pipe melody, gaining in harmonic richness and exuberance as it goes along; ending with the same simple pipe melody as the beginning. 
This arrangement is suitable for worship, or for an advanced piano student as a recital selection.
