Mark Lowry and Buddy Greene have

In this cello/piano duet, Ive
tried to capture that mysterious contemplation the lyricists have so
successfully communicated. Of course, the cellos timbre quite effectively
creates the mood, but also the pianos gentle, rhythmic accompaniment keeps the
forward motion going and adds to the "lullaby" quality of the piece. Both
instruments are given their turn at the melody, and each must "sing" the words
to help the arrangement communicate to the audience. Without any hesitation,
boldly play that final phrase and satisfying chord at the end, where the
lyricist concludes, "This sleeping Child Youre holding / Is the great I AM."
