Sax Quartets often get asked about the range of the various instruments, especially the Bari.  "How low can it go?"  Well, here's an excellent chart that features each instrument in succession playing the melody with the Bari handling the very low chorus (lots of Low A's).  If your bari. doesn't feel comfortable the part can of course be taken up an octave and still sound nice.  This could be a genuine crowd pleaser because of the uniqueness of it.  One of the most recorded western songs of all time with a very interesting lineage.
