A three movement trio written for alto recorder, flute, and oboe, while musing on centuries past, but with the infusion of modern harmonies. The title refers to the wood used for the three instruments this was composed for, namely, my ebony alto recorder, my daughter's ebony oboe, and my wife's ebony Boehm system flute.
