Product Description

George Gershwin's "Drifting Along with the Tide" is a Tin Pan Alley song, but clearly shows evidence of the influence of the impressionist French composers Maurice Ravel and Claude Debussy. The verse is largely quite ethereal, while the verse retains some of the ethereality and the verse but also demonstrates some straight-ahead Tin Pan Alley song characteristics.  Arranged for brass quintet (two Bb trumpets, French horn, trombone, and tuba). Performance time is approximately 2:45. Visit our website, www.tootsuitebrasspublishing.com, for a catalog of our arrangements available through sheetmusicplus.com.
