This trio begins by quoting the Sinfonia of the Cantata Ich steh' mit einem Fuß im Grabe (BWV156) by J S Bach (1685-1750), which gradually changes and becomes Hey Jude (1968) by John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Take your audience on a journey "from Bach to the Beatles", literally! This music can successfully be performed by three solo players, or by string ensemble. Also available for three cellos, for organ solo, or for any three suitable instruments... NB the associated demo audio & video recording is the string trio version (there's not yet a professional recording of the cello trio version). This sheet music edition contains the full score and each of the three instrumental parts, within one PDF.
