Product Description

Lament, for Double Bass and Piano was written in memory of Fr. Ralph March, O Cist. 1922-2016+ The work is scored for Double Bass and piano and should be played very slowly with expression and freedom. There is a also a version for Trombone and Piano. The two works are not direct transcriptions but conceived differently for the two instruments. Part is included with score. Fr. Ralph March was a world renowned scholar of music and Gregorian chant and directed many choirs, while teaching at the University of Dallas, he was a Cistercian Monk of our Lady of Dallas.
