Arrangement of five movements from "Musikalische Vorstellung einer Seeschlacht" (Musical Pictures of a Naval Battle) by Ferdinand Donninger (1716-1781).
The included movements are the famous "Morgenseegen" (Morning Blessing) and four Ouvertures to the four acts.
Five short but interesting fanfares from the European Baroque repertoire, to be played as a set or separately.
A suitable and effective repertoire for every festive occasion: concerts, recitals, openings but also sacred events.
Ideal as a first approach to Baroque repertoire to younger players!
Easy setting for Trombone Trio.
Range of Trombone 1: Eb in the staff to Eb above the staff.
Range of Trombone 2: in the staff (low Bb to middle Bb).
Range of Trombone 3: in the staff too (bottom G to middle Eb).
Eb major, no accidentals, easy slide technique, no 5th position, no 7th position.
Optional Timpani part (two drums, Bb/Eb, no changes)
Complete set with score and parts in both C (Bass Clef) and Bb (Treble Clef).
Also available for three Trumpets and for Brass Ensemble (3 Trumpets, opt. Horn, 3 Trombones, opt. Tuba, opt. Timpani).
