Estrellita (Little Star) is a simple but soaring Spanish melody, loaded with beautiful sentiment.  This arrangement gives everyone the opportunity to play expressively, and to perfect the Spanish rhythmic figures in the subsidiary parts.  String orchestras would need to add only a few players: seven single winds (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, trumpet, horn, trombone), two percussionists, and piano (optional).  Duration: 2 minutes, 51 seconds.
