Product Description

The Brandenburg concertos by Johann Sebastian Bach (BWV 10461051) are a collection of six instrumental works presented by Bach to Christian Ludwig, Margrave of Brandenburg-Schwedt, in 1721. They are widely regarded as among the finest musical compositions of the Baroque era. Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 in F major, BWV 1047 was originally scored for a Concertino of a natural trumpet in F, recorder, oboe, violin, with a Ripieno of two violins, viola, violone, and basso continuo (including harpsichord). This challenging arrangement has been adapted for a Clarinet Quintet: 3 Sopranos, Alto and Bass. An alternate Alto Clarinet part is included that is more "clarinet friendly".  The three movements total 11:30. Please contact me at james.pybus56@gmail.com
