When BETHANY meets SAINTS! These two classic American tunes are combined contrapuntally in an arrangement for wind quartet and trumpet duet. The two trumpets play 'When the Saints' in a call and response pattern while the wind quartet plays 'Nearer, My God, To Thee'. This arrangement is suited to church services at any time during the year and especially at Easter and Christmas ('When the Saints' was originally associated with Christmas). Competent High School and College wind groups will also find this arrangement a worthy addition to their repertoire. The full score has all six individual parts attached and the performance duration is a little under three minutes.
