This most popular Christmas tune is arranged for three flutes. While the first flute has the melody, the second and third flute also have the melody at some time in the arrangement. The upward key shift provides a brighter tonal area for the trio in the second section while the final 'maestoso' cadence provides a fitting conclusion. Intermediate in difficulty level, this arrangement would suit a high school ensemble and will be a welcome addition to your music program. There is ample scope for flexibility with tempo. This means that a more advanced trio could play it at a quicker tempo to great effect. The performance duration is approximately two and a half minutes. The score downloads as a set of parts.
