Product Description

The Missa Brevis was commissioned by Thomas Wilson, St Mary's Catholic Cathedral, Sydney NSW Australia in 2010 specifically for a group of Senior High School age teenage boy choristers. The musical style is melodic and strongly modal, and the organ accompaniment is independent throughout. The score contains all three movements, Kyrie, Sanctus - Benedictus, Agnus Dei and runs to eight pages. The vocal range (notated in the bass clef) is comfortable for teenage baritone voices and the difficulty level is intermediate. While specifically written for the Catholic Mass it will suit certain Episcopal liturgies and will make a great concert recital piece.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
